    Thermal Systems Engineer

    Global Engineering leader with a strong order book Excellent training and a supportive management team Varied NPI based work – low/medium volume This is an opportunity to join a leader within their field working on a variety of cooling systems utilised in both the Aircraft, Vehicle and Helicopter domains. In line with growth the are looking for someone with good Thermal Systems Engineering and Design skills, to work on the full product development lifecycle of new and existing products and systems.What you’ll be doing: Be involved with all stages of the product development cycle from requirements, bids/proposals, R&D, verification, and validation. Therma systems design and modelling working alongside a gate review system for NPI. Detailed design and analysis of a range of cooling systems from passive and active cooling, fans, and vapour compression cycle. What experience you’ll need to apply? Thermal Engineering experience with good knowledge of cooling and calculations using simulation with tools e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, Simscale or similar. Cooling systems experience, this can be from any form of cooling such as heat exchangers, vapour cycle, vapour compression, refrigeration. General systems engineering ideally across the full product lifecycle, including requirements, proposals, verification, and validation.     Mechanical Design Engineer

      • Global manufacturer. • New product introduction. • Diverse product range.   Your opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.   You will be part of a multi-disciplined engineering team that includes Mechanical Design Engineers, Electronic Design, Project Leads, and Senior Engineers.   What you’ll be doing As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing 3D CAD designs with a wide range of new product introduction and existing products from electro-mechanical devises through to integrated cooling systems. You will be involved with major development contracts, proposals, R&D, legacy production support.   What experience you’ll need to apply Autodesk Inventor 2017 onwards. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Creating part numbers and produce bills of materials on the company’s ERP system. Mechanical FE analysis. Production of detailed, sub-assembly and general assembly drawings.
