Bristol Media People Forum – The Future of Work

Thursday May 11th, the official launch of Bristol Media’s People Forum – a project initiated by Rich Roberts of en:RICH to provide Bristol Media members with a platform to listen, learn and share knowledge across all things people related.

The People Forum’s core team is made up of four key pillars – Chris Giddings from Synergy representing employee engagement and branding, Kerry Hunt from Thrings, an expert in employment law, Rich Roberts, HR and our very own Nick Dean taking the recruitment mantle.

The launch event was a great success with a strong presence of Bristol Media members there to enjoy Amy Sawbridge, Head of People Strategy at Virgin Group, present Virgin’s approach to engaging their employees into the brand experience of Virgin-group companies. No easy feat with over 60,000 employees!

The next People Forum event will be held on Thursday June 15th where ADLIB’s Gabby Shaw will take to the stage and facilitate debate on the Future of Work – how skills and working practices are likely to change, the global environment from which we’ll be able to attract talent, through to diversity and the need for commercial entities and education to unite to help create the workforce of tomorrow.
