MotherBoard Founding Signatories – Christmas Round Up

A conversation to change an industry on Wednesday, December 15th 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

For our sixth MotherBoard event in the series and the last before Christmas, we will be speaking with 4 business leaders who this year have taken a massive interest in MotherBoard, are striving to support women wherever they can and have either signed up for the charter or are in the process of. As we fast approach 2022 we want to outline the importance of the topics we have raised during the meetups this year and the importance of continuing to drive positive change throughout the tech and data sectors. MotherBoard was launched in February this year and already we have been on a huge journey. We want to pin down what we need to do to better support women and mothers that are working within the tech industry.

Speakers include:

Anna Szumska – Lead User Experience Designer – CareDocs
Marisa Wheatley – Head of People & Culture – Digital Detox
Paul Sheppard – Managing Director – Simitive
Nathalie Alpi – Co-founder and Managing Director – CookiesHQ

< MotherBoard is a community that has been created to drive positive change throughout the UK Technology and Data sectors. Creating environments that support the inclusion of working mothers offers a significant solution to the shortage of talent across the Technology and Data sectors. We’re here to educate, challenge, and create that shift. We’re not here to berate, we’re here to connect, embrace and champion positive change-makers.

Our community is open to all. Mothers working in tech, organisations who are up-skilling returners back into work as well as employers that are consciously looking to create inclusive programmes to attract mothers into their Technology and Data teams. We actively encourage females, males, and non-binary folk to join us and to get involved. >

If you would like to get involved in building and running our community please get in touch at amber@adlib-recruitment.co.uk. You can follow us on Instagram @motherboarduk.
