Scale Up Bristol!
With 2018 set to be ADLIB’s most progressive and ambitious year to date we know first hand the trials and tribulations of scaling up a business at pace. And with many of our clients and partners living in much the same state, we hear of other’s challenges, ambitions and approach on a regular basis. Finding your way through high growth is rarely simple and straightforward, so it’s always good to share and hear about other’s experience to support your own considerations around challenges…
Good news though, there is help out there for Scale Ups.
Let’s start with the amazing work that Briony Philips, Engine Shed’s Scale Up Enabler has been putting in, responding to some of the major pain points of those in high growth mode: Commercial Real Estate Briefing events in response to the challenges revolving around the lack of suitable office space. Founding the Bristol Angel Hub with the UK Business Angels Association and running quarterly investment briefing events to respond to challenges around access to finance and not to forget the Scale Up Ecosystem Map that’s taking shape – this is just naming a few.
Then we have Inspire Elite, your local business GP service, dedicated to working with ambitious, fast growing businesses. Their experienced advisers help you navigate your way through the vast maze of support out there, ensuring you find the right solution, at the right time, to assist you with your growth plans.
We’re proud to announce that we are now official partners of Inspire Elite, supporting them in their quest to deliver impartial advice to demystify the public and private support available to businesses in the West of England.
You can find out more about what they do and how they could help your scaling up efforts at their upcoming event on Tuesday 6th March 2018 (8.30am – 2pm, closing with a buffet lunch and networking from 1pm) at UWE Frenchay Campus (tickets via Eventbrite).
Their “Scale Up Bristol” event is to launch a new package of support which is bringing thousands of pounds worth of resources to the West of England to support fast growing SMEs, in partnership with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme.
You will hear from key speakers from the Inspire Elite network, business leaders,
Goldman Sachs programme and Alumni. Representatives from local authorities, higher education universities and colleges and other key stakeholders will also be supporting the programme.
We will be there for sure.
