    Digital Experience Manager

We’re on the look out for a Digital Experience Manager to join a leading financial services company in the heart of Bristol. However, this is a small client-side business but with a fast paced and ambitious ‘agency-like’ feel. What you’ll be doing You’ll have 2 content designers and 2 UX/UI executives reporting into you. This role may also include line management/liaison with the SEO Manager. You’ll be hands-on using User Research and analytics to review web design, shape decisions and direct content. As well as managing your team, effective stakeholder management will be key. The business has conducted user research (eye tracking & heat mapping) but are yet to have discussions about iterative research beyond analytics. This is all good stuff to explore at interview. This role would suit a digital all-rounder who can understand users, use data to shape decisions, create/direct content, and who’s able to communicate this convincingly to business stakeholders. A bonus if you have some hands-on experience in UI design, user experience or content.  You won’t find slow processes or long hierarchy ladders here. With a flat structure and meritocratic pay format, staff are rewarded according to value. We are looking for a Senior Creative from an Art Direction background to join an agency in the centre of Bristol. What you'll be doing The studio is a great place to be - Open plan and collaborative with a space full of talented designers and creatives! The agency has a flat structure so you’ll be getting involved shoulder-to-shoulder with the team, immersed in every aspect of the creative process. As Senior Creative, you'll be working on a variety of briefs, with a large portion of your time spent working on digital - generating concepts for websites, digital campaigns, web banners, social media ads, emails, mobile apps and motion graphics. That said, there will be print work to be done, from brochures to exhibition material. This is a highly conceptual role so we're looking for those who can put their ideas to paper through sketches and scamps and be able to bring those ideas to life, unafraid of being hands on and working closely with the design team to execute projects.     Digital Designer

We’re helping an established yet growing marketing agency in Bristol find a Digital Designer. The team have nurtured relationships with clients across the globe and have a reputation for quality output. They’re now looking for a Mid-Weight Designer to join their team and better their digital offering. We're looking for driven designers who are interested in the perfect mix of creative and tech, with opportunity to develop your UI, UX, HTML and CSS skills. What you’ll be doing This role will report into the Head of Digital Design, Creative Director and wider executive team. You’ll collaborate with the wider studio team to better the agencies already impressive digital design offering by creating some great work! The briefs will be challenging - you could be working on anything from creating the visuals for a complex website or web app from wireframing to execution through to designing banners and emails. You'll generate innovative, commercially-sound concepts and create work that demonstrates real flair, but beyond the user interface you'll be able to understand how your designs can be translated within development. There will be opportunity here to build CMS sites within webflow and squarespace, so an understanding of building in HTML and CSS is ideal. Using your knowledge of UX principles you'll ensure usability is at the heart of your digital designs and you'll also be familiar with the Atomic Design Process, producing small detailed components to scale-up in to full web builds. The agency will reward those who are driven outside the four walls of the studio - if you aren't afraid to get stuck in with learning new skills for yourself and bring fresh ideas to the table, then you'll be given the guidance to personally develop and progress where you want to be! What experience you’ll need to apply You'll need at least a couple of years agency experience in a design role. A portfolio that showcases your digital design abilities with examples of websites and web assets you've designed. Skills with the usual tools in the Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Some experience with a prototyping tool like Axure, UXPin, InVision or Sketch. You'll have worked in an environment that uses a pattern/component/asset library. Ideally some knowledge of the atomic design process. Experience in HTML5 desirable, but some experience working alongside developers essential. Working closely with the Creative Director and the wider team, there’s opportunity here to work on a range projects including brand and integrated campaigns across print, digital, and motion. Due to the team structure here, we’re looking for someone who’s forthcoming with ideas, is confident taking briefs through to execution, and who’s not afraid to get stuck in wherever needed in this small agency environment. There’s huge potential in the role and if showing willingness and drive, your talents will be rewarded with more ownership of projects and client engagement as you progress. The projects are broad so ideally you’ll have a multi-channel experience, but if you’re a master of brand and print, don’t hesitate to get in touch! What experience you'll need Previous experience as Designer in a fast-paced studio, agency or client side. A portfolio full of integrated designs, with a focus on brand and printed marketing campaigns. Digital design (web, ui, social, motion) a bonus but not essential.
