    eCommerce Manager

    Lead role within a new B2B venture PE-backed group of businesses Ambitious growth plans Our client is looking for an ambitious and professional self-starter, with a great track record of driving growth within a B2B eCommerce environment. The role will require you to take the initiative in developing the eCommerce business unit, under a new brand, and, ultimately, ownership of its P&L. You will initially be accountable for overseeing all aspects of the venture, from procurement and product merchandising to digital marketing, sales and fulfilment, with the support of group resources and 3rd party agencies. What you’ll be doing The role will report into the Group Marketing Director and have close interaction with the investors. You don’t need to be the finished article, but you do need to show an impressive trajectory of professional development, a solid eCommerce skillset, and the ability to use your own initiative. In time, the plan is that you will build, shape and manage the group’s internal eCommerce function and capability; a team that can scale the opportunity into a multi-million-pound eCommerce business. Day to day, you will be responsible for managing, shaping and growing the new eCommerce business unit within the wider group. You will inherit a launch-ready WooCommerce platform with over 500 product listings, so will be expected to hit the ground running. On the back of successful growth in this channel, you will begin to execute the strategy of rolling out sister eCommerce websites and brands. Furthermore, you will inherit an established Amazon marketplace account and newly-created Amazon vendor account.  What experience you’ll need to apply Relevant experience within an end-to-end eCommerce role, specifically focussing on driving growth through digital marketing and improving conversion rates.  Experience managing an Amazon sales channel.  Strong analytical skills and the ability to use insights to optimise eCommerce activities.  Proactive, ambitious and a self-starter.  Creative and forward-thinking approach to eCommerce. Enthusiastic and positive attitude. You will work as part of an existing media planning and buying team working to implement, optimise and manage global media campaigns to deliver the best possible campaign results for their clients. What you’ll be doing You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of global social media campaigns, working closely with the media planning and buying team. You’ll product reports to analyse the performance of the campaigns and promotions, closely monitoring KPIs to ensure they are all reached, and developing recommendations to improve them.  What’s more, you will support the development of targeting strategies across various social channels, keeping informed on latest developments in the field and communicating these to the wider team.  What experience you’ll need to apply Experience in multi-channel paid social media advertising You’ll be capable of analysing data to draw conclusions on campaign performance and improvements.     B2B Marketing Manager

    Build the Marketing Function & Grow a Team.  Well Established & Successful Business.  Central Bristol Location.  Here is a fantastic and, quite frankly, rare new opportunity for an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join a well established business in central Bristol as their new Marketing Manager.  This is a live requirement despite the current situation, and you will be joining a business that has been doing so well from a sales perspective, that they haven’t needed any Marketing department for the past few years.  With continued success, and seeing an opportunity immediately ahead, they want someone to establish a new Marketing function, building it from the ground up, and quickly hiring two more members to the team to report in to this role.  This suits a self starter who is happy to use their initiative and work with minimal supervision.  What you’ll be doing There is pretty much a blank slate with this role but you will take ownership of all activity and output across digital and offline channels.  Using all of your experience you will create the marketing strategy and write the marketing plan.  Taking an inbound market approach you will develop an effective content strategy, and with your natural copywriting and storytelling skills you’ll publish regular pieces across the website and social channels.   Once you have your feet under the table you will hire additional support, probably in the shape of a digital customer acquisition specialist and a PR/Comms specialist.  With this, you’ll have the capability to run multichannel lead generation campaigns across web, social, email, as well as paid and organic search.  Working hand in hand with the sales team, you will develop Marketing Qualified Leads and execute a number of brand awareness campaigns that integrate with the established CRM.
