    Software Engineer

This is the opportunity to join a small but international company as they further develop their automated real-time financial CRM.What you’ll be doing Working with cutting-edge technology, and a team eager to find even better approaches you'll help to further develop the platform and suggest new practices. You'll be reporting directly to the CTO & CEO who are very agnostic about your skills coming in. Predominantly working with Kotlin but are happy with any solid programming background as they're more than happy to upskill you in Kotlin.  The system is a microservices architecture orchestrated via Kubernetes and hosted in Azure its an event-driven architecture with Kafka, enabling an event sourcing approach. So we are looking so someone who is an expert in either microservices or event-driven Architecture, although, a strong passion will suffice! The teams are small, cross-functional, DevOps teams working with pair programming with a strong focus on automation to reduce cycle time and a philosophy of keeping things as simple as they can be. What experience you’ll need to apply Previous knowledge of event-driven architecture or microservices. Modern Programming Language. 2 years of commercial development experience.  What you’ll get in return for your experience A great salary of £60k with yearly reviews, flexi-time so you can choose when you work.     Senior Embedded Software Engineer

    Working with major blue-chip companies. Highly skilled team.  Flexible hours and work-from-home options.  Our client is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team based in Wiltshire, to work on projects spanning a wide range of industries and products.  This is an exciting opportunity to work on technical varied and challenging projects, with a company willing to upskill you.    What you’ll be doing  Joining the wider Engineering team with multi-project exposure, you’ll support the delivery of high-level projects across their global customer base. You will work on a range of projects and might find you are having to learn new languages/skills, so a genuine interest in software development is required. The sales team will do most of the heavy lifting in securing projects and outlining requirements, but some client conversation will be needed to establish specifics/timelines.    What experience/skills you will need:  Object-Oriented design. (UML, XML)  Communication protocols/Internet Technologies. (TCP/IP, Network sockets, HTTP, HTML)  Software design and test.  C and C++ is desirable. BS EN ISO 90001/safety-related in one of MOD, Aerospace, Defence, Rail real-time systems.    What you’ll get in return for your experience  As well as a generous salary, this business advocate flexibility and work/life balance.
