What you’ll be doing: Work on both current and new products to help quality, delivery and cost targets are achieved. Utilise Lean manufacturing methods such as Six Sigma, SPC, 8D, DFMA, FMEA and Kanban. Production/Materials support including supplier analysis. New Value Innovation including product procurement and build, drawing release and control, BOM, supplier selection and assistant in the generation of documentation. Monitor Quality of build/test, cost controls and assist other teams. What experience you will need to apply: Degree qualified ideally 2.1 or higher within a Manufacturing or Engineering related subject. Ability to work on or aspirations to work with high value, low volume equipment with a complexity and challenge. High Technology products experience would be beneficial. Good understanding of Lean manufacture methods especially Six Sigma (Green or Black belt would be highly desirable but not essential). Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering production processes – any 3D CAD or DFMEA skills would be a bonus. Driven and able to work with a variety of cross-functional teams. Predominantly working with Kotlin but are happy with any solid programming background as they're more than willing to upskill you in Kotlin.   The system is a microservices architecture orchestrated via Kubernetes and hosted in Azure its an event-driven architecture with Kafka, enabling an event sourcing approach. So we are looking so someone who is an expert in either microservices or event-driven Architecture, although, a strong passion will suffice!  The teams are small, cross-functional, DevOps teams working with pair programming with a strong focus on automation to reduce cycle time and a philosophy of keeping things as simple as they can be.  What experience you’ll need to apply     Previous work with event-driven architecture or microservices. In line with growth the are looking for proven Mechanical Design Engineer with good Autodesk Inventor and Geometric tolerancing to join the team, to work on the full product development lifecycle of new and existing products and systems.What you’ll be doing:Design of low to medium volume electro-mechanical devices and large-scale cooling systems, both existing and new.Involved with major development contracts, bids/proposals, R&D activities, and legacy production support.Produce designs that meet customer specifications through design verification and full lifecycle development within a gated review environment. What experience you’ll need to apply? Ideally Aerospace or regulated industry experience working on electro-mechanical or mechanisms design Strong Autodesk Inventor skills covering 3D design or components and assembly models. In line with growth the are looking for someone with good Thermal Systems Engineering and Design skills, to work on the full product development lifecycle of new and existing products and systems.What you’ll be doing: Be involved with all stages of the product development cycle from requirements, bids/proposals, R&D, verification, and validation. Therma systems design and modelling working alongside a gate review system for NPI. Detailed design and analysis of a range of cooling systems from passive and active cooling, fans, and vapour compression cycle. What experience you’ll need to apply? Thermal Engineering experience with good knowledge of cooling and calculations using simulation with tools e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, Simscale or similar. Cooling systems experience, this can be from any form of cooling such as heat exchangers, vapour cycle, vapour compression, refrigeration. General systems engineering ideally across the full product lifecycle, including requirements, proposals, verification, and validation.
