We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tech Lead to join the team on a permanent basis. The Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of technology platforms. This role requires strong technical skills, including AWS solution architecture, and the ability to lead and mentor a small but growing team of engineers.
 
What you’ll be doing:

As Tech Lead you will be hands-on and passionate about designing, building and leading a team to deliver exceptional data-centric solutions. The ‘build’ aspect of the role will include an appreciation of AWS services (supported by the experienced TechOps team) and programming using suitable languages for large-scale, data-centric solutions (e.g. Python, node.js). Database technology experience is a must. We are looking for the Tech Lead to support teams working on some existing PHP-based web solutions. The Tech Lead role will initially focus on some new solution opportunities, with architecture and technical design being key to the success of those projects.

What experience you’ll need to apply:

• Proven experience as a tech lead or senior developer with some experience of solution architecture.
• Strong proficiency in cloud-friendly programming languages such as Python or Node.js, and exposure to PHP.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
• Strong database skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Ability to mentor and guide more junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• with some experience of solution architecture.
• Familiarity with the advertising technology industry and digital media ecosystems.
