Here is a great opportunity for someone to join a B2B business near Avonmouth as their new Marketing Executive.  This is a varied role where you will come in and manage the entire Marketing function.  You will run multichannel lead generation campaigns, the digital presence, as well as offline media and events.  This is an opportunity to build processes, to put your own stamp on the role, and really help the business grow by supporting the sales team. 

What you’ll be doing

This is a true 360 Marketing role and an autonomous position.  Reporting in to the Sales Director, you will be the Marketing guru who brings ideas, creativity and will execute a number of campaigns.  There is almost a blank slate on how to approach the role, but you will be responsible for all digital activities, creating relevant content, positioning the business as thought leaders and experts in their field.  You will manage the website through the CMS, manage the social media channels, run regular email campaigns and will focus on both acquisition and retention.  

You will create video content and distribute across social media including YouTube.  With the breadth of multichannel digital campaigns, you will use Google Analytics and other tracking tools to optimise and report on campaign successes.  Supporting the digital marketing work, you will also seek PR opportunities and manage events and webinars.  

The Sales team will need Marketing Collateral to support them, and you will create infographics, leaflets, brochures and banners to support across both digital and print.  You may not have experience across all of the above, but you will have a hunger for success and a desire to constantly learn and develop.  

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Ideally experience working within a B2B environment
  • Ability to construct multichannel marketing campaigns 
  • Strong content/copywriting skills
  • Good digital marketing experience across CMS, Social and Email
  • Analytical and able to demonstrate campaign success
  • Exceptional communicator, both verbally and written
  • Experience with Adobe CC i.e. Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial but not essential
