B2B Marketing Manager

Here is a great opportunity to join a market leading business on the outskirts of Bristol as their new B2B Marketing Manager.  This is a highly varied role where you will run lead generation and brand awareness campaigns, to ultimately support the sales team and help drive continued business growth.  You will have the opportunity to shape the strategy and direction of the marketing function, and will deliver multichannel campaigns within an industrial sector.  

What you’ll be doing

Ultimately you will drive to increase customer engagement, raise the profile of the brand, and will deliver marketing qualified leads (MQLs) to support the sales team and help them hit their targets.  This is a commercial role and you will track all activity to show opportunities, results, and ROI.  

You will develop a strong content strategy to showcase product knowledge and expertise, and will deliver case studies and articles across online and offline channels.  You will work closely with the web agency, and will run digital campaigns across PPC, SEO, content, social and email.  

You will nurture leads through the sales funnel, and execute promotions and product launch campaigns.  As well as the digital channels, you will identify and utilise PR opportunities, and coordinate and manage attendance at trade events.  Ultimately you will bring new business opportunities and will be adept at tracking and reporting activity, with weekly and monthly reporting demonstrating ROI and cross channel activity.  

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Proven experience within a B2B environment 
  • Ideally some experience working for a business that sells capital equipment 
  • Previous experience of aligning with the sales team
  • Multichannel lead generation experience
  • Sound digital marketing knowledge 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Good events management experience throughout the event lifecycle
  • Strong reporting skills, ability to demonstrate activity and results

This is a growing company and you will have the chance to shape the marketing function and run successful campaigns how you see fit.  There is a competitive salary on offer (£35k-£45k), good benefits, but this is not a flexible working environment, and post Covid you will be expected to work within the office environment.
