We all know how rare these Part-Time Marketing Manager roles are, and here is a fantastic opportunity to join a small business in Clevedon.  This is a B2B environment where you will be allowed the freedom and autonomy to set the strategy and deliver multichannel campaigns in any way you see fit.  This is very hands on, and you will be expected to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, as well as thinking strategically and creating the marketing plan.  With lots of flexibility regarding working pattern (equivalent of 3 days a week), and office/home working, this is a role that will appeal to many.  

What you’ll be doing

Ultimately you’ll deliver multichannel brand awareness and lead generation campaigns.  With some great products to showcase and promote, you will adopt a primarily inbound marketing strategy to nurture leads and bring in new business.  The content strategy will play a big part, and with your strong copywriting skills you will write case studies, blogs, whitepapers and thought leadership pieces to name a few.  

You will utilise digital marketing channels and tools such as the CMS, CRM, SEO, Email, and Social, and will consider the value of Paid campaigns.  You will report on campaign successes, will demonstrate increased website traffic through Google Analytics and will optimise campaigns utilising A/B Testing and other approaches.  

As well as the digital marketing campaigns, you will also manage offline channels such as a strong events programme, pursuing PR opportunities, and will create marketing collateral and event support materials when appropriate.  

This is a highly varied and all encompassing role, reporting directly to the Managing Director.  

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience working within a B2B environment
  • Demonstrable experience of running successful multichannel lead generation campaigns
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge and skills
  • Strong copywriter with ability to write both long and short copy
  • Experience of writing marketing strategy and plans
  • Ability to align with a sales team to help drive new business opportunities
  • Exceptional communicator and team player 
  • Very hands on, and willing to execute campaigns yourself 
  • Experience of running and attending events and exhibitions
