PR, Media and Communications Officer

  • The office is based in Bath and the Client could offer very flexible working model with at least one day per week working from the office. 
  • Busy, all-encompassing comms role. 

I am delighted to represent a fantastic Client of mine with recruitment of a Media and Communications Executive. 

What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will report into the Media and Communications Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of the press office. This will include activities like media monitoring and identifying opportunities for coverage as well as responding to incoming media enquiries. The postholder will also draft and publicise relevant comment pieces linked to external news via the website and social media channels. From the wider comms perspective, they will support wider campaigns across print and digital channels and deliver content for the blog and social media channels.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven track record of creating press releases as well as other content for print and digital channels.
  • Superb stakeholder management skills. 

What you’ll get in return for your experience

A salary of £23-26k + benefits.
