Senior SEO Executive

This role is a great blend of digital marketing and operations, within a successful digital marketing agency. You’ll co-manage the overarching delivery of the agency’s SEO product, across both its white-label and direct end user divisions, sharing accountability  for the overall performance, delivery inputs and outputs, and ensuring SEO best practice across a portfolio of 1200+ SEO campaigns.

What you’ll be doing 

As one of two SEO leads, you’ll work in tandem to ensure the effective delivery of the company’s SEO campaign portfolio and subsequent target requirements, whilst also taking responsibility for the strategic positioning and continuous evolution of the SEO product within the marketplace, working closely with the Operations Director.

In addition to this, you will be responsible for one of the largest white-label clients, including orchestrating the end-to-end monthly delivery of c.200 SEO campaigns, and associated client communications. 

You’ll need to ensure effective resource planning of the SEO Delivery Team, enabling the timely completion of SEO campaign assets to deadline and mitigating risk of under-delivery, whilst supporting New Business sales in the pre-sales positioning and on-boarding of new SEO clients. 

Interaction with wider teams will include liaising with client services, product and development staff to act an SEO advocate, supporting technical SEO awareness and a creating a proactive learning environment for the wider business. 

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Experience working within an SEO-related role and tactically managing successful campaigns.
  • Experience managing at least one person is preferable, but a drive to want to grow
    further into a team leadership role is essential. 
  • Comfortable working in an agile, growing organisation where your input is expected.
  • Extremely well organised with a natural ability to deliver under pressure to continuous deadlines.
