Global PR and Communications Manager

- Global eCommerce consumer brand located in Bath.
- Currently, my Client is breaking into the US and AUS markets.
- There will be a global travel required, on average twice per year.
I am now supporting a fantastic Client of mine, a global eCommerce brand based in Bath. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and will work closely with PR agencies based in the US and Australia.
What you’ll be doing
As a successful candidate, you’ll be in charge of creating and executing a global PR strategy with a support of 3 agencies in the UK, the US and Australia. The ultimate purpose of which will be to increase the brand awareness and differentiation of my Client’s brand. It’ll be your job to create and maintain strong relationships with relevant influencers, journalists, bloggers and digital community leaders. Naturally, you’ll ensure that the PR strategy matches up with the wider marketing strategy and that all outgoing comms are on brand. In terms of more “hands-on” activities, you’ll create and brief blog posts, press releases and pieces of web copy. You’ll monitor all the relevant media with tools like Gorkana, Kantar and PR Shots. Last but not least, you’ll develop and manage internal comms.
What you’ll need to apply
- Previous PR experience across consumer and trade.
- International PR experience will be highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in using media monitoring tools.
- PR / Journalism or similar degree.
What you’ll get in return for your experience
The salary on offer is £40-45k + benefits. The office is based in Bath. Global travel will be required once or twice per year. Due to working with agencies in different time zones you may be required to occasionally work after hours.
