Community Manager (Cycling Industry)

How exciting! It's not often that a role like this becomes available in the South West. A lovely client of ours in Bath is now seeking a Community Manager to oversee and engage with their audience across their social channels (e.g. Facebook and YouTube) within the cycling industry. This is a fantastic role for someone who is really immersed in the world of cycling; be it mountain biking or road racing. It is absolutely crucial that you are able to talk about cycling at a high level as the audience you'll be dealing with here will be extremely knowledgeable and it will be your responsibility to answer queries, spark conversations, and pick up on changes/trends/developments.
What you'll be doing
Essentially, you will be monitoring, contributing to, and engaging with your audience - often on a technical level, across several social channels. This organisation is very active on social media and you'll be comfortable in working across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and may even have a commercial understanding of using Snapchat. You will be answering questions from your audience, contributing to discussions, and be able to tune in to your audience to determine the latest trends and developments in the industry. You will be someone who is always ahead of the curve.
What experience you'll need to apply
- Experience in using social media in a commercial environment
- Ability to deal diplomatically with challenging situations
- High level of emotional intelligence
- An expert understanding of mountain biking (MTB), road cycling or triathlons
