A thriving business in the South-West is seeking a candidate to join as an eCommerce / Online Sales Executive. With a fast growing product range the team need someone to help keep pace with promotions, trading, online merchandising and content management.
What you’ll be doing
With high traffic numbers and a considerable online turnover, this is a great challenge for someone wanting a side step or to break into their first role. Working as part of a well-structured team, your position will report into the Online Trading Manager and work closely with online merchandising, promotions, content and wider marketing team.
With the goal to boost conversions and average order value (AOV), your role will be about listening and learning to others around you on how to affect these areas specifically. As you pick these up you’ll begin to take more and more autonomy in the role – will a promotion improve AOV? How do we increase sales where the margins are highest? How will this impact stock and what actions should we take here?
Ultimately, yes you’ll be working for an eCommerce brand, but the role will give you broad understanding of how an online retailer works end to end. Your day to day will involve running promotion transfer requests, online merchandising and deploying on-site content.
What experience you’ll need
- Recent graduate or equivalent experience in an eCommerce/Digital setting.
- Incredibly driven, proactive and eager to learn.
- Fantastic attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Ability to solve problems and take the initiative.
