I am currently supporting a really nice Client of mine a growing SME specialising in providing print and technology solutions for other SMEs based across the UK.
What you’ll be doing
As a successful candidate for this role you’ll report to Marketing Director and you’ll take ownership of two out of five core propositions of the business. There are three main parts into that role. The first part is building and maintaining relationships with Partners (or vendors, in this instance mainly printer manufacturers). It’ll be essential to influence key decision makers to maximise my Client’s access into the MDF (Marketing Development Fund) available to resellers as well as negotiating special pricing deals in pre-sales. Finally, assuring that vendor websites deliver quality leads. The second part of the role will be to work closely with the internal sales team assuring they’ve got appropriate product messaging they can use while selling complex propositions. It’ll be your responsibility to run internal training programmes and where needs be assisting with large proposals. The final part of the role will be to take marketing ownership for one of the sub brands assuring that all marketing activities are fit for purpose.
What you’ll need to apply
- Experience in technology marketing (and ideally sales) or similar b2b sector.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
- Personality wise you’ll be motivated, determined to succeed and have the ‘hands on’ approach.
What you’ll get in return for your experience
The salary on offer is £40-50k + benefits. For the suitable candidate a favourable package can be negotiated.
