One of Bristol’s most innovative digital product businesses are looking for a Technical Lead to drive things forward. If you’re keen to lead a small team but stay hands-on with code, have knowledge across PHP, Laravel and JS, and enjoy platform development, then this could be the one.
What skills you’ll need
- A great people leader with ability to coach, influence, engage, unblock and delegate.
- Have good DevOps & Security experience.
- Decisive and confident.
- Still keen to be hands-on, as much as you’re are a leader and mentor.
What you’ll be doing
The Technical Lead’s main responsibility is to ensure that the technical vision and business priorities of the team are delivered on time. You’ll be experienced at unblocking and mentoring, as well as representing the team in meetings with stakeholders. You'll be hands-on and code with the team too, most likely on more time-sensitive or advanced functionality as well as working closely with the Product Owner, ensuring that new technology is reviewed and utilised where appropriate. You will have the vision and experience to ensure the product is architected in a way that is secure, futureproof and scalable.
