A well-backed and exciting start-up with new offices in the Bath/Trowbridge area who create intuitive software solutions, native applications and platforms is looking for a Front-End Developer with strong React experience to help take their product forward. They're already making major movements in their market and following an extremely successful period of sustained growth they are now looking for someone to join the team in a part-onsite/part-remote capacity. They’re particularly interested in anyone available immediately, the projects are ready and they’re good to go!

Experience you'll need

  • Excellent front-end development experience, with great examples of work to show.
  • React.js experience is essential and a strong background with JavaScript generally.
  • High level of experience with UI layouts and SCSS.
  • Experience of using REST API’s.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to work around them.
  • Build/config management including Webpack and Babel.
  • GIT/SVN.
  • Practical experience of testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai etc.
  • Passionate about learning the right technologies for the task.

What you'll be doing

You will be joining a small team of developers and be responsible for the look and feel of the application, as well as the architectures, performance optimisation, accessibility and usability. You will work with the QA lead and other developers, using the right tools and languages to ensure a high quality of product. They need someone with a keen eye for design and UI/UX to translate wireframes and UI designs into well crafter, intuitive code that helps create an efficient, standards-compliant and accessible software product. You’ll need to perform well in a fast-paced environment, sharing your knowledge with others and solving problems across the business. This is an incredibly exciting product already being used by some very well-known customers so expect a fun and rewarding ride!

    Opportunity to join an industry leader within the automotive business. Truly flexible working opportunity with the option to work fully remote. Excellent career progression.  I am currently working on an exciting Full-Stack developer opportunity for a global automotive busiess who are looking for an expereinced Python Developer to come and join their team. The Python Developer will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and its end users, as well as translating UI/UX designs & wireframes to code. This role will also be responsible for the design and overall architecture of various web applications and evolve them to ensure maximum performance and stability.What you'll be doing Architecture design of web applications.Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application.Building reusable code and libraries for future use.Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability.Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Implementation of security and data protection.Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements.Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application.
