Working with a mix of internationally renowned clients and high-flying local startups, you’ll be able to work with freedom and flexibility to create some outstanding applications. *This role requires someone to work onsite with the team in Bath 3 times per week.
What skills you’ll be needing
- Strong IT or Maths degree (or equivalent).
- High degree of competence with a back-end development language (such as PHP, Python, C#, other) and some examples of work to show.
- SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of how to build scalable web applications and performance optimisation.
- Voracious appetite to learn and practice.
What you’ll be doing
As part of a team of 5-6 developers with vast experience you’ll be working on mostly large builds for some of the region’s most exciting start-ups. You will be supporting, maintaining and developing branding new web applications to a very high standard. Working here you’ll be asked to estimate the duration of your work, lock in the deadline and the work with freedom and autonomy (picking your own hours) to deliver it. There’ll be support from the team, regular pair programming and peer reviews as well as an Agile working environment. This is the perfect place to work on projects that really progress your tech skills and enable you to challenge yourself.
