An amazing opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join an exciting, purpose-driven Tech innovation business in Bath. This is a 12-month FTC to cover maternity but it’s quite likely you’ll be able to carve out a permanent opportunity for yourself. The company has doubled in size since 2020, from 27 to 52, and plans to grow to 75-100 in the next year or so, and they’ve just invested in HubSpot. There’s a lot to get stuck into and the marketing team will continue to grow.

As well as being recognised as a great place to work, they’re super flexible. This role could be either a 4-day-per-week opportunity or a 5-day-per-week role. They have amazing offices in Bath, with a hybrid setup. Their office is a great place to work but they are super flexible.

They care about people and the planet too. Their B Corp status is pending.

What you’ll be doing

This is a B2B Marketing Manager role using HubSpot. Training on HubSpot will be available and it’s a fairly new tool for the team so you’ll be joining at the beginning. If you’ve had some previous experience with HubSpot, this would be a huge advantage.

The Marketing Manager will report to a CMO and you’ll act as day-to-day marketing lead for the business.
You’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and building marketing programs from start to finish across campaigns, sponsored content, video, and blog series.
  • Researching, capturing, and putting together case studies in collaboration with project teams, which you’ll bring to life across the website, social media, at events, and print.
  • Day-to-day interaction with a Social Media agency, planning a month in advance, and making sure new news is covered.
  • Managing awards applications and other campaigns with lots of moving parts.
  • Taking the lead on content and campaigns and working with an in-house team as well as the agency to create engaging content and generate leads.
  • Setting up and marketing events.
  • Working closely with the CMO to further develop the brand and marketing strategy.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Ideally, you’ll be B2B Marketing Manager with previous experience in the Tech / SaaS / innovation space but there is a bit of room for flexibility on this if you tick the other boxes
  • HubSpot experience would be ideal, or a similar tool, but training can be offered.
  • Must be an excellent human-being who is value-aligned, a great communicator and relationship building, and somebody who really wants to make a positive different and move things forward.
  • String content, Social Media and digital campaign experience is a must.
  • Able to analyse traffic/trends and advise on website content / landing pages to improve SEO.
