A very rare opportunity to join a progressive, BCorp pending eCommerce leader who are doing fantastic work in helping to make households more sustainable. As Lead Developer you’ll be helping to improve their existing digital platform and build an impressive new product to help them continue their incredible growth.
*Can be fully remote (UK only) with paid travel to their Bath based HQ once a month.
What skills you’ll be needing
- HTML5, CSS3.
- RESTful API integration.
- Back-end development (Node.js, PHP, Ruby, Go or similar, your choice)
- Ability to work in highly collaborative team.
- Passion for sustainability and leaving a positive impact in the world.
Any of the following would be amazing:
- eCommerce experience.
- Building custom Shopify themes using Liquid.
- Experience working with Recharge.
- Vue.js or similar.
- Tailwind or Tachyons CSS framework.
- Experience working with apps in the Shopify app ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing
With a customer base and community already up to 50,000 there’s a fantastic base already established, now is the time for them to invest and develop their product further. They’re looking for a talented Lead Developer to help them take their digital experience to new heights. You’ll have a strong mix of front and back-end technologies to call upon and will be responsible for owning the tech stack working closely with their Product Manager. They’ll be asking you to manage the performance of their website, own the development roadmap and work with their design and development team to deliver on time and within budget. Furthermore, you will lead on all QA activities and manage relationships with external partners.
