— Broad eCommerce opportunity
- Established Multi-Channel retailer.
- Growing eCommerce offering.
- Broad role including digital marketing and technical expertise.
This eCommerce business started life as an online retailer and has since then developed a strong wholesale offering to high street brands. With digital still very close to the heart of the founders, they are looking for an eCommerce Manager to take their growth to the next stage.
What you’ll be doing
Working on the existing UK site (Magento) and Amazon marketplace, you will look to drive sales in this area but also get involved on site launches internationally (EU and US). As such this will require a broad skillset but give you the autonomy to take an already successful brand (100% growth online last year) to the next level.
You will handle the day to day trading of the site, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Assistant to ensure content stays on brand, and with customer service / dispatch to deliver consistency across all customer touchpoints. Reporting into the Operations Director, you’ll take full ownership of the SEO plan, listings for Amazon and eBay Marketplaces, optimising images / product descriptions and uploading to the site and creating monthly reports for the senior management team.
Ideally for this role you’ll also be able to code in HTML and CSS (possibly some PHP too) to help manipulate templates on the website. While not a must this will help you manage the whole operation end to end.
What experience you’ll need
- Have previously managed an eCommerce site end to end.
- Experience with SEO.
- Ideally worked on Magento, but not a must.
- Coding experience in HTML and CSS, preferably with exposure to PHP.
- Use of Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop elements.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
There is a salary on offer of £25-30k, however please get in touch if your expectations are a touch above. Benefits etc. available on request.
