This Multi-Channel retailer is a regular member of the IRUK Top 500 report, making an appearance this year in the leading category. This role is working as a Senior Data Analyst, supplying analysis of customer data across the business.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into the Data Analytics Manager, this role will be working as part of a team of 4 but filter into the wider team of 20. The analysis of customer behaviour will include modelling/predictive analytics, behavioural analysis, basket analysis and ad-hoc projects that will provide additional insight across the business. You’ll use SQL and testing scenarios to gain further insights and ensure accurate results, using your skills to proactively identify opportunities that will drive growth.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, eCommerce, Financial and Commercial team members, offering precise commentary to accompany your findings as a useful presentation tool. This is a nice summary to underline that while there is a key focus on analytics, these insights will drive value across the entire multi-channel proposition. Therefore your findings can have significant impacts given the scale of their business.
What experience you’ll need
- A strong understanding of analytics including modelling, segmentation, business intelligence reporting and dashboard reporting.
- Excellent SQL skills and advanced Excel skills.
- Predictive analytical skills using SPSS or similar an advantage.
- Thorough understanding of key marketing metrics.
- Can work independently and meet regular deadlines.
