A start-up based in Bath has received investment and are looking to hire some graduate/junior developer into the team. These people will be responsible for supporting the development of the ambitious vision this company have. It’s a great opportunity for developers looking to advance their skill-set and work with a brilliant tech for good business that will be hugely successful around the world.

What experience you’ll need

  • You will have worked with development languages, ideally JavaScript and Python but other languages will definitely be considered.
  • University, commercial or personal experience will all be considered.
  • You’ll be a team player, enjoy working with other people collaboratively.
  • Attention to details is important for growing the code base.
  • A passion for technology, you’ll be really eager to learn new things.
  • If you have any interest in Artificial intelligence it would be a great bonus.
  • Flexibility between languages you work with, you will be supported with any.
  • If you have worked with React Native, React, Angular, Vue, Java, Django, Flask, iOS or Android it will be beneficial.

What you’ll be doing

You will be joining a very talented and supportive team of developers in Bath who are working on a brilliant AI application that will help organisations help their employees around the world. You’ll be coding in JavaScript and/or Python as well as others on a daily basis, but also you will be learning these languages inside and out as well as other tools and technologies. You’ll be developing various parts of the system, running tests, integrating with the cloud and taking part in weekly stand-ups. Also you will have the chance to research other technologies that might benefit the tech stack, you will be free to make any suggestions as a valued member of the team. There is access to lots of training resources, so a lot of your job to start with may be learning, turning you into a polyglot developer who can switch between multiple languages, giving you an environment you can really thrive in.

The salary on offer ranges between £25K-£35K depending on experience.
