A Bath based software house with a global client base is looking for a PHP Developer to join them and work on their innovative cloud-based platform. The business is very culture-driven and already have a fantastic team in place. They’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to bring fresh ideas to the table and enthusiasm for the role. With an excellent training budget there’s real scope for progression here, making it a great place for a developer with a few years’ experience to succeed.  

What skills you’ll need

• Proven experience developing with PHP.
• Experience of UI/UX is highly desirable.
• Front-End capability using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery would be a bonus.
• Good working knowledge of LESS, Sass, Bootstrap.
• Experience of GIT.
• An ability to maintain clear documentation.

What you’ll be doing

As a PHP Developer your main focus will be to support the development of the business’ cloud-based platform. Your day-to-day will include maintaining the core product software, developing new functionality where necessary. Working closely with the Senior Developers, Project teams and Support you’ll need to be able to communicate with the wider business effectively, explaining tech to non-tech. You’ll be able to work well in an autonomous environment with good documentation skills. The team in place already are great – they’re great fun and love exploring new tech. You’ll be encouraged to contribute to all aspects of the project.
