I am working with a lovely eCommerce company based in West Kensington, who specialise in collectables from global brands including Warner bros. They are currently on the hunt for an eCommerce Executive to work across their German and Northern European offering.
This company is currently in the midst of a very exciting digital transformation, being driven by their desire to meet rapidly changing customer needs and behaviours internationally. This transformation has created fast track business growth, with the digital team playing a fundamental role in this growth.
The German speaking eCommerce Executive will play a key role in growing the German/Northern Europe market through website optimisation and marketing.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into the UK eCommerce Manager, you will work alongside an international team to develop and manage eCommerce sales across Germany, the Nordics, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. You will be responsible for assisting with sales forecasts and budgets, giving this role quite a senior flair.
Across the websites you will be responsible for organisation, SEO optimisation, product placement, managing catalogues, writing product descriptions, editing product imagery and creating banners. With this role being quite broad, it is an amazing opportunity to develop many different skills across the eCommerce spectrum. There is a strong focus here on using analytics to look at and improve traffic flow and customer journey.
You will further be assisting with Digital Marketing activities across email marketing (creating newsletters and writing copy), content marketing, social media and performance analytics.
What experience you’ll need
- Fluent in spoken and written German.
- Proven experience within an eCommerce role.
- Experience with digital marketing across Email, Social Media and SEO. SEM experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using analytics to improve website traffic & customer journey.
- Ability to write creative copy with no mistakes that mimics brand tone.
- Eager to learn and develop with a large business.
