A start-up near Cirencester who are already the leader in their new market are going to be impacting the world with their digital tools that enable and secure some major data. Their technology will position them with a huge offering, which brings a need for back-end developers to play a pivotal part in creating their exciting digital products.

What you’ll need

  • Experience with PHP, preferably with Zend.
  • Good knowledge of handwritten JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Version control (Git)
  • Ideally NPM, Grunt and Jenkins.
  • Desirably you will have worked with AWS.
  • Restful API experience is essential.
  • A passion for technology and a keen interest in self-learning.

What you’ll be doing

As a back-end developer you will be working with PHP to help deliver the large scaled projects. You will be joining a close-knit development team working on maintaining current code but also building some exciting new products to boost the companies offering globally. You will be mainly working with PHP but if you have the ability you will be crossing over into the front-end world using JS frameworks such as Angular. Whilst you will be working with innovative leaders, you will be bringing your own ideas to the table and help drive the best technologies into the business. This team is central to the business so they will be offering the right support and backing along the way to help you succeed.

The salary is flexible on experience (£30K-£60K) with the need for various levels of developers. On top of the salary you will get 25 days holiday (which can increase), flexi hours and some remote working (1-3 days depending on capability), pension, on-site parking and the chance to upskill/train/attend conferences working with great tech working with great people on something huge.
