Creative (Art Director)

We are looking for a Mid-Weight or Mid-Senior Creative from an Art Direction background to join an agency in the centre of Bristol. It's a great place to be with flat hierarchy and an environment where your creative talent will be recognised and nurtured. What you'll be doing

The studio is a great place to be - Open plan and collaborative with a space full of talented designers and creatives! The agency has a flat structure so you’ll be getting involved shoulder-to-shoulder with the team, immersed in every aspect of the creative process.

As a key part of the Creative team, you'll be reporting in to the Senior Art Director, Creative Director and Creative Services Director. You'll be working on a variety of briefs, with a large portion of your time spent working on digital - generating concepts for websites, digital campaigns, web banners, social media ads, emails, mobile apps and motion graphics. That said, there will be print work to be done, from brochures to exhibition material.

This is a highly conceptual role so we're looking for those who can put their ideas to paper through sketches and scamps and be able to bring those ideas to life, unafraid of being hands on and working closely with the design team to execute projects.

Playing a key part of the creative offering for the agency you’ll be directly involved in pitches, so we’re looking for a creative who can confidentially talk through their ideas and present to the agency’s key clients with ease. You’ll naturally establish great rapport with clients, with the ability to challenge and evolve briefs to come to the perfect solution together.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • A portfolio of work that shows us your craft and concept abilities across brand, digital and print.
  • At least a few years agency experience is a must in a similar role.
  • A natural when pitching and presenting your ideas.
  • Fluent with the usual tools in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of After Effects desirable but not a must-have.
