Marketing Artist with Motion / Animation

We’re on the lookout for a Marketing Artist / Animator to join a media and tech company with a focus on mobile gaming who are in the process of relocating their digital acquisition team from the US to Bristol. These guys operate on a global scale, producing some world class mobile games. There's real opportunity to make the role your own and progress with this fast growing business.

What you’ll be doing

Forming the foundation of the UK creative team, working closely with the Creative Lead and wider marketing and games teams you’ll be producing pixel perfect banners and motion graphics to promote an exciting portfolio of online games.

Your designs will reach a broad audience as they’ll be rolled out predominantly across online platforms such as in-app marketing, Google, and social media channels such as Facebook. 

When it comes to software skills you’ll need to know After Effects and Premier Pro like the back of your hand, along with fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) for the creation of static banners and wider digital marketing collateral. The online games are built in Unity, so if you’ve any experience with using Unity in the past, this will be a bonus, but is not essential.

Perhaps you’ve worked for a mobile gaming business in the past, or you’ve a keen interest in online games, either way, we’d love to hear from you!

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • At least a few years experience in commercial design, agency or client side.
  • A portfolio and showreel showcasing motion graphics / animation and integrated marketing work.
  • Motion Graphics / Animation experience.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Skilled in After Effects, Premier Pro.
  • Strong creative design flair, particularly with layout and typography.
  • Keen interest in mobile gaming, experience in a similar business a plus!
  • Experience working in Unity a bonus but not essential.
