What you’ll be doing

You will be a key part of the digital project team- providing support to ensure that all projects run smoothly and without hitch! Working closely with the other digital producers, tech and creative teams, you’ll be managing complex design and build and campaign-based projects, incoming requests and keeping clients up to date and happy with progress of how projects are running.

As a communicative and confident stakeholder manager, you’ll keep everyone informed along the way, obtaining buy-in and sign off for briefs, ensuring everything runs smoothly through to delivery.

With other developers being a part of the company you will participate in code reviews, using Github to pull request feature. As it’s all on cloud you must deploy code to AWS, help maintain the Cloudformation stack. You work will be done in sprints, which is for you to take ownership of. Inheriting this code-base is a big deal, so you must be up to the challenge on taking a globally used platform and keeping the reputation together. If something faults it is up to you to fix it. Ability to build test strategies from scratch, as well as expertise in TDD/BDD principles, unit testing and configuration management.  Expertise in testing eCommerce websites would be highly beneficial though not essential. Awareness of JIRA is useful too.  Comfortable working in a dynamic & changeable environment where adaptation is key.  What you’ll be doing The business doesn’t have a massive testing environment so the aim is to set up a brand-new testing function within the eCommerce team, with scope to grow a team around you. It’s expected that you’ll build the testing strategy from scratch, taking ownership of test environment provision and driving Agile best practices across the team. You will advocate continuous integration, introduce TDD/BDD and unit testing to more junior employees as well as offering expertise in configuration. The main aspect of this role is to look after the business’ range of eCommerce websites so any previous experience in a similar environment would be beneficial. Initially this role will be very hands-on but will evolve into more of an oversight position as the team expands around you. At this point you will take on line management responsibilities, mentoring other team members and creating a trusted delivery capability moving forwards. You will also play an integral part in keeping up to date with, and suggesting new and effective testing approaches and tools to bring into the company. You'll need to be excellent at detecting errors and troubleshooting them quickly.  Any experience with SQL, ETL, Windows OS, Windows Server, any programming/scripting languages, AWS, is highly beneficial. You'll be expected to have a keen desire to learn & continuously develop your technical skills. What you'll be doing As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st & 2nd line support to the company's market leading CRM platform, as well as offering support to their customers. The company have been helping their customers for over 20 years solve drive revenue through producing innovative customer experience platforms. You'll be working across a range of applications and will be trained on a variety of different technologies.
