One of Bristol’s most respected digital agencies are looking for a talented Front-End Developer to join their small team working on some really exciting and worthwhile projects. Their work has been recognised at national level for helping improve the lives of vulnerable people so you can feel good that you’ll be improving your development skills and having fun whilst doing something worthwhile to society.
What skills you’ll be needing
- Strong portfolio of responsive websites to show off your skills.
- Knowledge of website accessibility, SEO and an understanding of the principles of UX, wire-framing, user journey mapping etc.
- An enthusiasm for picking up new web development skills; you’ll be able to learn Angular, Vue, Ionic, Ruby and much more.
- GIT version control.
What you’ll be doing
Coming into this super-friendly small team, you’ll be building responsive websites that integrate with their CMS, updating and improving existing sites and applications and assisting with new product research, design and development. It’ll be a really interesting mix of web development work with a supportive team around you where you can learn how to test websites, ensuring that they’re optimised for performance as well as helping out with bids, proposals and quotations. They’ll look to you to offer technical guidance to the business and help them drive forward innovation and new tech. Your opinion will be highly valued and you’ll be happy to get stuck into any work that comes in from fixing bugs to creating new hybrid web apps, there won’t be a dull moment here!
