Full-Stack JavaScript Developer needed to join a 20 strong dev team within one of the most dynamic, innovative and fastest growing technology companies in the South-West. Working in their amazing Bristol office, you will be a part of a well-backed software-house responsible for the development of a seriously impressive and complex set of applications used by a fast-growing but already huge audience.

What experience you'll need 

  • Ideally you will have experience of designing, developing and testing web based applications and database solutions.
  • You should have at least 2+ years of experience within JavaScript and Node development.
  • In a perfect world you will be well rehearsed with Angular but this is not a dealbreaker.
  • An eye for detail is essential if you were to be succesful in this position.
  • Agile based experience such as TDD is desirable but a bonus!.

What you'll be doing 

You will be building secure and reliable services through cleanly architected and well tested code. Contributing to new greenfield projects will be a key part to the role and sharing your opinion and research across different teams. As well as developing Node backend services you could also be developing user interface components using React, Backbone and jQuery. Life will never be dull in this role, projects are fast-paced fun and always challenging, there will always be something to learn.

    Established platform provider with multi-national client-base. Ambitious plans to double revenue over the next few years. Building scalable web applications for a multi-functional platform. This platform provider has moved from strength-to-strength since launching over 10 years ago and now operate across Europe and the US with plans to double their revenue over the coming years. With continued growth in their Bristol team they need a Full-Stack Engineer to join them, helping to shape future growth of the team & direction of the platform.  What skills you’ll need Full-Stack development expertise with proven background in PHP.  Significant knowledge of JavaScript, preferably with knowledge of React. Experience building scalable web applications, designing APIs & web services.  Understanding of DevOps principles, advocate for TDD/BDD.  Awareness of Agile/Scrum delivery. What you’ll be doing Joining a small team of engineers, you will work alongside the Senior Engineers & Technical leader on a variety of projects, advocating for TDD/DevOps approaches and adhering to coding best practices. The business offers a multi-functional marketing platform which it’s expected you will help to shape & enhance, playing an integral part in looking after a portfolio of web apps & services, designing scalable APIs and driving continuous improvement.
