Elizabeth Shaw’s 140 year heritage of making quality chocolate dates back to 1881 and the original After Dinner Mint Crisp.

The role

•    To champion the Consumer & Brand inside/outside the organisation
•    To be the custodian of the Elizabeth Shaw Brands ensuring consumer relevance and consistency of messaging across all marketing channels
•    To plan & manage the execution of the marketing communications programme for both the Elizabeth Shaw and Famous Names Brands
•    Manage the E Commerce site for Elizabeth Shaw/Famous Names
•    To assist the Marketing Director in the execution of the Lily O’Brien’s marketing communications programme
•    To work with Media Planning/Buying Agency & PR Agency to plan and manage the execution of an annual integrated communications programme for the Brand across ATL Radio, Press, OOH, On and Offline PR and Social Media Platforms
•    To work with Category Marketing Managers and retailer media owners to oversee Brand Presence in Retailer Media & Online to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and support trade activation plans
•    To work with the social agency to create an ongoing Social Media Strategy for Elizabeth Shaw in line with overall Brand Communications targeting the Brand’s core consumer
•    To oversee Elizabeth Shaw’s presence at UK and International Trade Shows ensuring Branded Stands and Literature are available as required
•    Review the role played by ES Website/Shop and ECRM programme in overall consumer journey and ES Communications Channels and evolve e mail marketing campaigns to suit changing media consumption habits of ES consumer. Drive sales performance of the ecommerce site through website management, promotional campaigns and website enhancements
•    Ensure that a seasonal plan is developed and implemented to drive sales including online media activity and ECRM. 

The candidate

•    Excellent communicator 
•    Strong organisational and project management skills
•    Good level of numeracy with a commercial focus
•    Self-starter - capable of taking the initiative and working pro-actively 
•    Confident, not afraid to challenge
•    An understanding of Brands and how consumers relate to them
•    Experience of managing and updating ecommerce platforms – Wordpress 
•    Experience of eCRM tools – Mailchimp 
•    Knowledge of digital marketing channels 
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Good understanding of analytics and reporting 
•    Copywriting, image editing, asset production using photoshop will be advantageous

•    This role is a 12 months maternity cover, we can offer a 4 day week.
