Data Migration Developer

This established development company and are continuing to grow and need a specialist Data Migration Developer to work closely with their team of developers in Bristol. This position will work on business-critical projects with external clients to scope out and deliver a wide range of data migration requirements.
 
What youll be doing
 
You will work alongside a team of experienced developers and external clients to understand and analyse the migration needs. This will include identifying, documenting and validating the migration scope by liaising with clients and the wider development team on regular basis. 
 
Youll draw up technical specifications, inform all relevant parties on the end-to-end process, from reporting to gap analysis, to risk and constraints. 
 
Due to these responsibilities, you will be a well-organised developer, capable of working on different projects while engaging internal and external stakeholders.
 
What youll need to apply
 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in ETL Development
  • End-to-end data migration experience
  • Solid SQL 
  • SQL Server preferred
  • Project Delivery and stakeholder management
  • Agile/Scrum desirable 
  • Proactive and self-organised
