What you’ll be doing

As an Energy Management & Low Carbon Transition Consultant you will be required to provide expertise and advice on energy-efficient improvements in relation to renewable energy and low carbon energy generation. 

Ideally, you will have a proven track record in energy management or relevant engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and process as there will be site-based assessments to identify energy-efficient improvements on a wide range of technologies such as CHP, HVAC, waste to energy, lighting, instrumentation, and control systems. 

 

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • Technical knowledge to advise on energy efficiency improvement related to renewable and low carbon energy generation.
  • Energy auditing and carbon footprinting.
  • Energy legislation such as SECR & ESOS.
  • Proposal writing & report writing & business case modelling.
  • Knowledge of HSE procedures and standards would be an advantage.
