A market-leading business is looking for a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join them in North Bristol. They're one of the UK’s leading insurance providers currently supporting over 50,000 customers and are continuing to grow. Their success has allowed them to put a real focus on growing out their digital offering by launching a brand-new disruptive mobile application. Joining them at the beginning of this journey, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of this exciting project. What skills you’ll need
- Strong proven background in mobile development, with excellent knowledge of Android & iOS application design.
- Great working knowledge of architectural patterns i.e. MVP, MVC, MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile app profiling & debugging.
- Experience integrating apps into 3rd party data sources would be beneficial.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into to the Digital Marketing & Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development of their brand-new disruptive mobile application. Working closely with the development team and members of the wider business, you’ll be called on to share you technical expertise around application architecture when defining the appropriate tech & tooling, playing a crucial role in shaping the direction & functionality of the app. Your code will need to be clean & reliable, ensuring best performance and user experience of the application. This project is the first of its kind for this business, meaning you’ll be expected to set the standard for further development as the company grows. This role offers you great autonomy over your work whilst being supported by the wider team.
