One of Bristol’s most successful and innovative tech start-ups are looking to grow significantly and require a talented Android Developer to join their team.  If you want to help build a product which helps the environment and utilised the latest tech then this is definitely one for you!

What skills you'll need

  • Android development experience, with live apps to show.
  • Strong Java development skills.
  • Experience/knowledge of OOP and client/server architectures.
  • Understanding of data syncing and caching approaches.
  • GIT version control.
  • Any knowledge of the following would be great; Google Maps, Android Auto, RESTful API’s and Material Design.

What you’ll be doing

Working in tandem with their IOS Developer, you’ll be working within a UK market-leading tech business writing clean and maintainable code to a high standard.  Often working independently and as part of a team, you’ll be able to pick up the latest and emerging technologies with the autonomy to experiment.  Working on two key products, there will be opportunities to really stretch yourself and take ownership for your area of specialism.  You’ll need excellent communication skills and the ability to react to changing requirements with ease.  As the business continues to grow there could be an opportunity to grow your own team and become a key part to the success of the company.
