  • Join a top UX agency with a great reputation.

We’re looking for Principal UX Consultants to join a top Bristol agency. With deep roots in the UX community and a well-respected brand, this is a great opportunity for senior researchers looking to work on government, not for profit and commercial projects. Hybrid working is on offer with 2 days a week in the office.

What you’ll be doing

As part of a specialist UX agency you’ll be in good company and part of an extensive team of expert researchers, UX designers and visual designers. There’s several core UX teams in the agency. The Principal UX Consultant sits on the research team and is responsible for creating and running research programmes across all sectors but with a particular focus in government and not for profit work.

At the Principal level you’ll be involved in leading and shaping research, guiding and mentoring more junior members of the team and be the senior research advocate in client meetings. There is line management opportunity for those that want it (managing one or two practitioners) but equally if management isn’t for you, this isn’t a problem as you can play a lead role without direct line management responsibility.

What experience you’ll need

  • Previous experience in a user research role, operating at a senior level on projects.
  • Comfortable creating and running large-scale programmes of research, involving multi-disciplinary teams.
  • An expert on research with a good understanding of different methodologies and strategies.
  • Agency experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Any GDS experience beneficial but not required.

What you’ll get in return

Bonus scheme, 25 days holiday (rising to with length of service), birthday off, employee discount perks, BUPA healthcare scheme, life insurance, plenty of team socials, lunch and learns.
