An exciting start-up are looking for a Web Test Analyst to join their growing team at their Central offices in Bristol. Historically the team has worked remotely but now having their own space, they are looking to grow their in-house team even more. The team size is at ten now in the space of a year and collectively their websites receive over 2 million users per month. As they don’t currently have a testing team you will be the main point of testing and defining the future of this space.
What experience you’ll need
- Proven experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with automated testing tools would be ideal (including automation UI testing)
- Experience writing unit tests for code
- Agile experience would be seen as a bonus
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be owning quality assurance for a couple of prestigious web sites and apps working closely with the development and product teams to estimate, plan, prioritise and coordinate testing activities. Defining test plans, creating scripts and having your say on how things will be done is a key part of your every day. You’ll be able to design, develop and execute automation scripts, including unit tests, integration tests and UI testing. Skills with multiple device testing for all releases is a must. Staying up-to-date with latest innovations in QA, and sharing this with the wider team.
