A well-reputed predictive analytics & application consulting provider is going through a rapid period of growth and are looking for React Developers to join their team. Born in America, the Bristol office is now at 35 (developers, testers, data scientists/engineers) with scope to get to 50 in 2019, and 100 in the next 2 years. They work in a highly Agile environment, working with an incredibly diverse & global customer base spread across the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Mexico, Spain & Monaco. The business are constantly looking to integrate new & emerging technologies into the business, a lot of their techies are customer facing as well.
What skills you'll need
- Significant expertise with React & Redux, as well as TypeScript. Any React Native experience would be a huge plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in a highly Agile environment.
- Understanding of TDD/BDD would be useful.
- Any understanding/interest in Machine Learning, Data Science or IoT would be advantageous but not essential.
What you'll be doing
Joining a team of c15 developers/testers within the consultancy team, you will be involved in a Greenfield project which focuses on the front-end aspect of a large-scale security platform for one of their longstanding clients. It’s a highly Agile environment so you’ll be involved in regular sprints, as well as liaising with the QA team to ensure application functionality is robust at all times. There will be other on-going projects to get into as well, so you will need to be adaptable to different tech and offer openness to integrating new & emerging tech/tools into the wider stack. You will need to grasp technical details quickly, familiarising yourself with the design & architecture of any given project so you can adjust your approach to best support the customer’s requirements
