React Native Developer

I'm working with a market-leading software house who are looking for a React Native Engineer to join their team. They’re open to fully remote working, but their hub is in Bristol if you’d like to work from the office, alongside a talented team of developers, QA’s and DevOps engineers. If you want to work on a Tech-for-Good innovative product, then this could be the one for you!

What you'll be doing

Within this role you’ll build performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You’ll be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. 
Joining a team of 10+ Developers working to the ‘Spotify Model’, you can expect high levels of alignment and autonomy. Working closely with others in ‘squads’ to deliver complex solutions that are genuinely improving the lives of vulnerable people. This is a varied and heavily technical role needing strong problem-solving and innovation. You’ll be methodical, focussed, patient and product focussed.

What experience you'll need

  • Well versed in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Commercial experience with React Native across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with Redux for state management.
  • Knowledge of React (ES5/6).
  • Experience with Git.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of cloud development ideally AWS.
  • Experience working with build tools.
