A Green Tech company based in central Bristol in looking for a Security Engineer to join their growing security team. What skills you’ll need (ideally one or more)
Most importantly you will be someone who is constantly looking to learn and develop your knowledge of security. As well as this you will have experience with one or more of the following;
- Experience with SIEM platforms.
- Vulnerability Assessment tools.
- Software Engineering.
- Enterprise IT platforms.
- Cloud technologies.
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISMP, CEH etc).
- DevOps/ SecOPs.
- Intrusion detection tools.
- Scanning platforms.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the technology function, you will be supporting the overall requirements of the security program. Your responsibilities will include security research and development to identify current and emerging technology threats. Introducing and implementing new security solutions to protect new and existing organisations of the group. You will liaise with vendors to implement security solutions and continue to improve and support them going forward.
What you’ll get in return for your experience
On offer is a salary between £30,000-£45,000. You will also receive a bonus (12%), pension, 26 days holiday (plus option to buy or sell more), flexible working hours, tailored training and development plan, free breakfast, flexible benefit fund (4% of annual salary)!
