A Senior Developer who has the credentials and calibre to work towards becoming a Technical Architect is needed to join one of the UKs most established and multi award-winning digital agencies. Operating more like a software house these days, you'll be working as part of an experienced team of developers, testers and creatives on international client projects building outstanding web applications.
What skills you'll be needing
- Solid industry PHP experience.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL.
- Standards-compliant HTML and CSS.
- Excellent knowledge of Git Version Control.
- Experience working with Drupal 8+.
Any experience of the following would be great but certainly not essential;
- Working with AWS cloud technologies.
- Symfony and MVC methodologies.
- 3rd party APIs.
- Strong understanding of Linux and Apache configuration.
- Docker and Ansible.
What you'll be doing
This really is a role for someone already at senior developer level but has the ability to move into a tech architect role in the near future. They'll be looking for you to obsess about clean, performant code as you work on a variety of projects that could last days or months. They believe that much of what they do is more to towards software engineering as they try to build API-first applications. Working in this enthusiastic and highly self-motivated team, you'll be eagle-eyed when it comes to detail, with a love of clean, secure, well-documented code. You will be able to debug and investigate problems efficiently and understand the importance of performance optimisation. You’ll be a decision maker, driven and confident in what you do. Also you need to be a clear communicator with technical and non-technical members of staff and stakeholders.
