 An opportunity has become available for a Service Desk Team Lead to join a start-up based in Bristol. Their technology is bringing ease to the hospitality sector and their customers. They have already smashed their targets for this year, have an impressive customer base and are now scaling up for their next period of growth. This role is ideal for someone who can demonstrate already progressing within a service desk position and who is looking to progress further, making a real impact within a fast-growing start up. 

What skills you’ll need

  • ITIL Foundation
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience troubleshooting an extensive variety of technical issues.
  • Ideally experience with Zendesk but not essential.

What you’ll be doing

Initially you will be the forefront of customer support for the suite of products that the business offers. This will be a hands-on role until the team grows where you will then be tasked with implementing strategy and design for the service desk team. Ensure that high levels of customer support are delivered at all times. Manage all escalations with customers and the team efficiently. Effectively liaise with other teams within the business. Focused on proactively managing customers’ satisfaction to keep customer attrition percentage low and minimising loss. Eventually you will define and develop ITIL aligned processes to manage customer issues. The role is mainly office based although there will be occasional visits to client site at first.
