A FTSE 250 business are looking for a Software Developer (C#) to join them in their brand new modern offices in the centre of Bristol. The core department is currently c35 strong with exciting plans for growth in the pipeline making it an exciting time to be joining them. There are 5 core websites which you'll be responsible for, as well as a mobile application they've recently brought in-house and an internal booking system, so plenty to get stuck in to!
What skills you’ll need
- Proven experience in a software development role using C#, .Net MVC and SQL.
- Proficiency in OOP, relational databases and standard web/mobile application development.
- Good knowledge of development practices such as source control, continuous integration, load testing & functional testing tools.
- Significant knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
What you’ll be doing
Working in Agile teams you’ll be contributing to the build and support of quality software solutions across various customer facing websites and mobile platforms, as well as an internal booking system. Working in a fast-pace and collaborative environment you’ll be responsible for delivering cutting edge features and changes to these applications, supporting the test, production, release and customer support teams throughout development. Driving continuous improvement will be the heart of everything you do and you’ll need to stay up to date with the latest development practices. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you’ll be expected to communicate with stakeholder across the business and build relationships with relevant business users.
