A rapidly growing tech start-up based in Bristol is looking for a senior developer to lead the engineering of their latest secure coding offering. This exciting new addition to their market leading platform teaches developers how to write secure code in line with OWASP. With another recent round of investment they are looking to scale-up even further and continue their incredible success.
What experience you’ll need
- A very good understanding of developing secure software.
- Knowledge of OWASP.
- Agile experience.
- Management/leadership skills.
- You’ll understand the importance of keeping up to date with the latest security practices.
- Be able to deliver large-scale secure cloud-hosted web apps.
- Good communicator and able to work closely with clients.
What you’ll be doing
You will be bolted on to their talented engineering team on a separate mission to develop programmes that teaches the users how to write secure coding applications using a variety of languages avoiding OWASP pitfalls. It won’t be long until you are leading and training a team (likely remote) where you will still remain 100% hands-on, cooperating with the product & UX teams to ensure you are supporting the latest ideas and innovation and then working the sales and marketing teams to maximise opportunities when launching new programmes. You’ll be the go-to person and advocate for this offering within work and at any events the company may be involved in. You’ll be keeping up to date with the latest trends in security and development, and be a key in driving further success of their already loved platform.
