The market leader in their sector, this established and ambitious brand is on the look-out for an analytically-minded individual to provide recommendations which will optimise their online strategies. This role provides the opportunity to work with both digital marketing and web teams and will put your data-driven insight to the test on a large scale.
What you’ll be doing
Working within the eCommerce department and reporting to the eCommerce Manager, your role will involve digesting the analytical data and converting it into reports, actions and recommendations to the stakeholders mentioned above.
This will include examining entry/ exit pages to maximise conversions, looking at checkout statistics and reporting of various sales channels (such as SEO/PPC), all the while working alongside the offline team to understand how direct mail impacts the web sales. Another part of the role will be to benchmark performance against industry standards, and recognise why they differ and if separate strategies should be employed.
In a nutshell, your focus will be to employ these methodologies, understand where changes can be made to improve overall performance of the site, and then work with internal teams to implement these changes.
What experience you’ll need to apply
- Will ideally have worked within an eCommerce business.
- Experience with MVT and A/B testing a real plus.
- Experienced user of at least on digital analytics platform.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills – excel, access, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and an analytical mind-set.
