What experience you’ll need

We’re looking for a talented Lead/Senior .Net Developer who has the capability or experience to lead a small team (4-5) of developers working with the following technologies; C#, Asp.Net, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and associated web technologies.  You’ll need to have experience of architecting, documenting and developing customer-facing web applications/websites in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment.  On the technical front there will be great opportunities to potentially enhance your JavaScript skills (e.g. angular, node, react native etc), CMS (they work with Kentico, Umbraco, Sitecore, Episerver and would ideally like you to have experience of some of these) as well as many others. This role is approx. 50% hands-on technical and 50% leadership, scoping, speccing and delivery management; you’ll need to have mentoring/coaching experience and be keen to pass on your knowledge.  

What you’ll be doing

Working within this award-winning agency you will be building CMS-based solutions that have performance, quality and security built into them from the ground up by writing reusable, maintainable and extensible object-oriented code that follows best-practice SOLID principles.  You’ll be leading Agile development projects sure each team member has clarity on what they are doing, that stakeholders are kept abreast of progress and that the project is kept on track.  Projects are varied, genuinely interesting and hugely rewarding; you’ll never be bored, honest.  As part of the role you will be coaching and mentoring your team and other developers, and being instrumental in developing the skills of the whole team.  They’re looking for someone to help them to refine and drive forward the technical roadmap with innovative thinking and the usage of new technologies and trends in the team.
